Terms of Service
MapSeal — GPS Camera
Last updated: November 4, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Pushpendra Kumar ("we", "us", or "our"), the publisher of the MapSeal Android app (package name: com.map.camera). By installing or using MapSeal you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. How we handle information is described in the MapSeal Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
2. What MapSeal does
MapSeal is a camera app that takes photos and videos and adds a visible footer stamp that can show coordinates, location accuracy, an address, date and time, altitude, a mini-map, and an optional company name. The stamp is drawn into the saved photo or video. Photos and videos are saved on your device in Pictures/MapSeal and Movies/MapSeal.
Location is used while the camera is open to build the stamp. You can decline location permission and still use the camera; the stamp will then show that location is unavailable. Microphone access is optional and is used only for the soundtrack of videos.
3. Accuracy of stamps
Location, address, map, altitude, and time on a stamp come from your device's sensors, your device clock, and online services, and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. You can also change stamp settings and your device clock. We do not guarantee that a stamp is accurate or complete, and we do not guarantee that a stamped photo or video cannot be edited or faked. Do not rely on MapSeal as legal, safety-critical, navigation, or official evidence without independent verification.
4. Photographing and recording other people
You are solely responsible for what you capture and share. Before photographing or recording other people, or places where it is restricted, make sure you have the consent and permissions required by the laws where you are. Stamps can reveal where and when a picture was taken; think carefully before sharing media that shows your location or someone else's.
Do not use MapSeal to stalk, harass, or secretly track anyone, or to capture or share content that is unlawful, abusive, or violates another person's privacy.
5. Sharing your media
MapSeal does not upload your photos or videos to our servers. When you use Share, the file goes to the app you choose through Android's share sheet, and that app's terms and privacy policy apply. Photos can also carry location in their metadata, so check what you are sharing and with whom.
6. Fees and purchases
MapSeal is free to download and use. It shows Google AdMob advertising, with consent choices where required; you can review ad privacy choices in Settings. We do not sell in-app purchases in MapSeal.
7. Intellectual property
MapSeal, including its code, design, name, logo, and content, is owned by Pushpendra Kumar or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on your Android devices for its intended purpose.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell, or distribute the app, or remove any ownership notices, except where applicable law allows it despite this restriction. The app may include open-source and third-party components, which remain under their own licences.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app to break any law or the rights of others;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or its services;
- use automated means, or modified or cloned versions of the app, to abuse it or circumvent its limits;
- misrepresent your identity, or present content created with the app as something it is not.
9. Third-party services
MapSeal relies on services from Google, such as Google Play, Firebase, and Google AdMob. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies, including the Google Play Terms of Service. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapSeal is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may differ between devices and Android versions, and we may change or discontinue features at any time.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use MapSeal. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, which is zero if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
12. Termination
You may stop using MapSeal at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live, the courts at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the app.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of MapSeal after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
