MapSeal
Capture the place. Keep the context.

Built for the field
When the photo has to prove the place
MapSeal is for people who need the location visible on the capture itself — outdoor advertising verification, registry and inspection records, and on-site documentation.
Outdoor advertising
Capture hoardings and site boards with coordinates, address, and a mini-map burned into the photo — so location is visible for approval, not only in EXIF.
Registry and inspection
Field officers and survey teams can attach place context to every capture for records that need to show where the image was taken.
Site visits
Construction, real estate, and delivery teams get a readable stamp with accuracy and time, so the visit is documented in the media itself.
Shareable proof
Media stays on the device until you share it. The stamp travels with the file — no MapSeal cloud account required.
What it does
Stamp the place. Keep the file yours.
Photo stamps
Coordinates, GPS accuracy, address, and a mini-map are baked into the image pixels — not only stored as editable metadata.
Live GPS video
Location, accuracy, and time update while you record and are burned into the video frames.
Foreground-only location
MapSeal reads location only while the camera is open. It does not request background location and does not track you afterward.
Your gallery, your media
The gallery shows captures this app creates. No broad photo-library permission is required.
Share when you choose
Photos save to Pictures/MapSeal and videos to Movies/MapSeal. Nothing is uploaded unless you share it.
Camera stays ad-free
Banners appear on Gallery and Settings only. There are no ads on the live camera or during capture.
How location is used
Only while the camera is open
MapSeal uses your location only while you use the camera to add coordinates, GPS accuracy, address and a map to photos and videos. Your GPS location is not used for ad targeting. Media stays on your device unless you choose to share it. You can continue with approximate location, but the stamp may be less precise.
- ✓Foreground-only — never tracked in the background
- ✓Adds coordinates, accuracy, address, and mini-map to stamps
- ✓Not used for ad targeting
- ✓You can skip location and still use the camera

Location
Precise or approximate — stamps coordinates, accuracy, address, and mini-map.

Ads, honestly
MapSeal is free and supported by Google AdMob. Banners appear on Gallery and Settings. Questions
