PRISM Scan is a cutting-edge document intelligence application developed for Sphere Global LLC. The app leverages on-device machine learning models to scan, classify, and extract data from physical documents and images — all without requiring an internet connection. Using TensorFlow Lite on Android and CoreML on iOS, the app performs real-time OCR (Optical Character Recognition), object detection, and NLP-based text summarization. Documents are automatically categorized into invoices, receipts, IDs, contracts, and more. The backend architecture uses FastAPI for real-time sync via Firebase Cloud Messaging, with secure file storage on AWS S3. Currently enhancing offline model support and enterprise-grade API security for large-scale deployment.
